The Weapons of our Warfare(1)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not fight against fleshly and human factors know this for sure; that the weapons with which we fight with, are not from human and earthly origin; but find their source and power through Gods own very resource that is why we are able to let go off strong habits and thoughts that could lead us out of the will and presence of God again and again. Not only are we able to do this through God, but He also helps us bring conflicting and confusing issues of traditional and new belief systems to fall inline to the original intentions God had for them as proclaimed in the life of Christ. This will be easily done in our lives when we have a heart ready to obey God where we have disobeyed Him. (II Corinthians 5:3-6 KJV) << Words are mine as permitted of God>>

Glad to have you back. In the next days we are going to be talking about war, weapons of warfare,  why we fight and how this fight came about.

Let start first by letting us know that war and warfare started in  heaven long ago before man was created on the earth. It will cease at the battle of Armageddon. When, I do not know but for sure it will happen and there will be no more reason for wars in Gods universe( Further reading: Revelations 12:7-13)
From this verses you will notice that the Bible talked about a Dragon; yes, this is the self same Lucifer who rebelled against God. The setting was many years before man was created on the earth.
Now that we know how wars came about, let us now focus on what the weapons of our warfare are.Remember, the scripture did say in II Corinthians 10:4 that they are mighty through God. How can this be and how can I get God to be strong on my behalf.

Our  weapons  are not of human source like guns, tanks or fighter planes but they are made of other materials not of this realm.  II Corinthians 10:4 introduces us properly to the concept of position and realms. There are 2 realms. The spiritual and physical. Both are distinctively different, separate and would I say, totally mutually exclusive but yet affect each other to a very large degree. How can this paradox be?

  • The physical world we see came from the spiritual.
what is the implication of this.
  • Spiritual issues precedes that of the physical. What this means is that whatever happens in the physical realm had already been concluded in the spirit realm. Find this hard to  believe as a Christian. Here is a simple example:Genesis 1: 2-3. "...And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
  • The words you speak create the very world you live in.The entire material universe was made from Gods spoken word. They are also weapons we use defy the enemy and stop the avenger. Proverbs 18:20-21;Psalm 8:2
Tomorrow,by Gods grace we shall look into what our weapons are in God and how to effectively use them.

God bless you.
