For the next 2-weeks we shall be discovering who God is. I am highly excited as I believe I shall re-discover God in a way I never imagined in the weeks to come.
Agreed, many would say; I know who God is. He his a Spirit and all who must worship God must do so in Spirit and in truth. Is that all you about Him?
Do you know that God:
- Cannot lie
- Cannot change
- Does not exist in time
- God cannot take back what he gives to you
- God is Love(we shall explore what love really is in the expression of God)
- God always relates Judgement and Justice
- Is all merciful
- God cannot stand sin ( sin in far more insidious than we think, we shall learn here why God loves the sinner but hates his/her sin and why he had to eliminate the power of sin)
- God is not the opposite of Satan
- Created all things(seen and unseen)
These are just few attributes of His being to excite us about who our father is. Oops! Did I say father? Oh Yes father.
The greatest revelation of God I had was His fatherhood. I never really had a father figure; but God was there all along for me, for us all. This would bring comfort to many who thought that God hated them for having not provided a physical father figure around them.
The excitement is real and I am more than excited in my spirit.
